    About this experiment

Number Drop is a drop-and-merge puzzle in the Suika lineage, tuned for chain reactions. Glowing orbs fall into a glass jar and equal numbers fuse on contact: 1+1=2, 2+2=4, 4+4=8 — up the eleven-tier ladder from Spark to The Infinite. Merges that land within 1.4 seconds of each other build a chain multiplier that peaks at ×4, and a single well-placed orb can cascade through the whole pile while the CHAIN banner counts your merges. Keep the stack below the dashed danger line: any orb that lingers above it for 1.6 seconds ends the run. Drag anywhere to aim — the ghost orb and dashed guide show where the next orb will land — then release to drop; on desktop the arrow keys and space bar do the same. Every run is seeded, every orb queue is readable ahead, and the next three orbs are always shown in the top-right strip. The Daily experiment deals the same 36 orbs to every player on Earth and ranks your placements on a global leaderboard — the score is recomputed server-side from your drop positions alone, so nothing can be forged. Collect all eleven species in the codex, share your best runs as a branded result card, and chase the 1024.

    How to play

    2. Equal numbers merge on contact: 1+1=2, 2+2=4, up to 1024.
    3. Merges within 1.4 seconds chain — the multiplier peaks at ×4.
    4. Keep orbs below the dashed line for 1.6 seconds or the run ends.
    5. Desktop: ← → aim, Space drops; tabs switch CLASSIC / DAILY / CODEX.
